The sector labeled “Barri Gotic” in the historic center of Barcelona was built artificially for tourism purposes and little historical rigor on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1929, excluding a large part of the oldest part of the city: the Palau and Sant Just neighborhoods.
Cultural Guided Tour
This itinerary aims to recover and introduce a part of the city that is rich in monuments and buildings from ancient Rome to the Middle Ages. We will pass by the Roman portal at Regomir street until the city’s house portal-the palace Pati d’en Llimona- and the magnificent palaces of Lledó street.
